I realize that it's June. I realize that this card is extremely late, however, my mother understands that May is usually very busy for me as I work in Higher Education and that is the end of the academic year. Being a retired teacher, she knows that as school comes to a close for the year, it gets progressively busier at the same time. I also hadn't seen her since Easter, so when she text me that she, my dad, and my niece were coming down at the end of the week, I knew I had to get cracking on some cards. Since I last saw them, Mother's Day, her birthday, my birthday, my niece's birthday, Father's Day, and their Anniversary had occurred or are at least about to (Father's Day and their Anniversary). Knowing that I was not going to be able to make it home for Father's Day, and their Anniversary, I had my work cut out for me. Here's the Mother's Day card I made for my mom.
I originally got the idea for this card, here. I love how the card turned out and so did my mom - I gave it to her tonight. :) The card is 5.5"x5.5" and is a gatefold card! I scored the card at 2.75" and 8.25".
